Phuket’s weather during low season is better than you think

Phuket’s so called low season, or rainy season is actually much better than most imagine. Sunsets are colorful, weather is mild and refreshed after the usual short daily shower, and the island is less cramped and prices lower.  With weather changing around the world, Phuket is not an exception, the rainy season seems pushed back farther, and has less impact than before. Phukets low season is one of the best times of the year for those looking for peace and quiet in the tropics with low prices and lots of quality services.  Locals are still welcoming and the weather is surprisingly great except for a couple of moments of bad streaks which most would say are really not bad, tropical rains are actually beautiful to watch and the air quality is soothing.

Beaches in Phuket

Phuket has some of the best beaches in the world, and this is one of the main reasons for why it has become such a popular tourist destination – of course the local culture and climate is great too. The most popular and nicest places to relax in the sun are to be found on the west of the island, and this is where all the main resorts are located. There are 35 beaches on the island of Phuket to choose from – a useful map of these beaches has been created by Phuket 101. Some of these locations are difficult to visit because they are attached to a resort. There are no legally private beaches on the island, but the fact that resorts will often block access to these areas means that they are private for practical purposes.
